The movie starts out at a faster pace than the book... or maybe I'm just scientifically challeneged because I almost put the book down because of the beginning.
The story was a nice blend of history, mystery, religion, and, yes, science. The filming was great, almost made you feel like you were in Rome. The acting was pretty good; while Tom Hanks is good, I would have preferred someone else.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
