astounding special effects

The story was sort of familiar--white man meets squaw, brave resents white man, white man proves he is worthy and he and the squaw find happiness. But the Pandora world was excellently thought out and the special effects, especially the glowing floaters, were excellent. You could get lost in the scenes. The notion of having a disabled guy as the hero was different, but the disability gave him the motivation to really get into being an avatar "driver." Overall I am glad I got to see it in a 3d theater, and not at home on a flat screen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
