balance of book to movie...

My girlfriend and I went to the movie last night. I have read the book, she has not. I left the theater a bit disappointed, she could not stop talking about how much she enjoyed it.
I loved the book, and the movie was barely a shell of it. I would have enjoyed the movie much more had I not read the book. The biggest disappointment was the lack of emotion from Vetra due to the entire first part of the book being left completely out of the movie.

It was rushed and left out so much of the story line had my gf not enjoyed it so much, It would have been a waste of a ticket.
If you loved the book, you will be disappointed. If you have not read the book you still have hope.
