I am not a big star trek fan, but old enough to remember the origional. I LOVED this movie. I saw it in IMAX and my first comment was WOW. There was a lot of action, and even some jokes. I also liked that they pulled some of the old charactors into the movie as well. I really was pleasantly surprised by this one.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
