50/50 is an excellent film that captures a snapshot of real life in a way few films do. Dealing with cancer is a vehicle for the main character to come to grips with what is important in his life as he finds out who he really is in the face of adversity. Funny, sad, hopeful, real--everyone should see this movie! It's the best film of the year by far!
Yes, I recommend this movie.

This is the way a movie should be--great acting, coupled with funny scenes, lots of action, a little romance and huge amounts of entertainment. A must-see with lots of big names that deliver their lines with style and ease--nobody tries to steal the show. Don't miss it!!!
I think this movie has something for everyone in the family. It was a great tribute to the original and added an interesting new set of toys to the mix. We laughed, we cried, and we loved this movie!
This movie was so predictable and relied so heavily on special effects that the any attempt at an original storyline and character development was completely lost. It had potential to be a great film but the acting was flat and the depiction of the characters' relationships with each other was so rushed that I didn't have a chance to identify with, or even care about, what happened to them. Disney should be ashamed to claim this movie; it wasn't worth the time, money or effort it took to see this mediocre film.
