I would have to say that i really liked this movie. i have been a trek fan for years and didnt know what i was going to think about this film. I think that they did a good job of keeping with the feel of the old series but also making it more modern for new viewers. The casting was great for most of the characters. Chekov in my opinion was the weakest of the bunch and he wasnt a major player anyway. The way Kirk and Spock interacted with each other was something new and i hope in the future they play off of them clashing again instead of being buddy buddy like the old films. I mean what friendship doesnt have some difficulties along the way. Overall a great movie and cant wait for the next one to be made.
