Too much action not enough substance

This was a good movie, not a great one. I'm glad I saw it, but would not see it again. It was a liitle campy for my taste, and the underlying theory about the threat to the Vatican was not believable. The film was basically an action-thriller. It could have been so much more. What should have been central themes were left far in the background and not adequately developed. The science versus religion controversy and the Church's history of impeding science should have been probed more thoroughly. A few sentences quickly mentioning the subject here and there was not sufficient. I would have rather seen less action and more substance.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
