I appreciated the gorgeous works of art and historical facts regarding the Catholic Church and the Illuminati as much as the plot. Although CERN is real, the bit about the antimatter's ability to level Vatican City was more than a bit of a stretch.
Special effects and camerawork were good.
I was a bit disappointed that the villian here just didn't evoke the same sense of menace as the albino in the DaVinci Code.
