Great movie. Already want to see again to sort a few things out. Luved the ending but need to either see again or talk to others about why it had to go down that way. And the Baby Doll dance...what a wonderful tease! Excellent combination of sexy without it oppressing the message and having some good fun. A brilliant mix that allowed a PG-13 rating without diluting the impact of the movie, however, it may be more appropriate with an R rating because of the theme. They almost endanger the message at the end by getting a bit too preachy...but the movie overcomes that. Highly recommended!
Would have been a better movie if they removed the opening death scene cause couldn't watch that scene without closing my eyes. If you make it through the first scence then it is a fun entry in the Saw series that integrated current issues, e.g. health care, into the plot. Corny, but fun if you like the whole Saw series.
Bad movie. Can't believe all the hype. Perhaps the bad seat influenced my view (they double sold the reserved seats in the Cinema Suites ...supposed to have seat right in middle of theater but they sold the seat twice so I was offered to find another seat or come back...I ended up in back row and couldn't see bottom portion of the screen because of high walls in Cinema Suites...I'm not tall but come on, what's up with the great wall of China?). But I really don't think a better seat would have changed my opinion of the movie. Production value was like a B movie...what's up with that? And reviews said acting was better as they were older but totally not true! Anyway, the whole movie and experience was a thumbs down for me.
