First, let me say I am a fervent fan of Dan Brown's works. The plot line in the book was fabulous and mile-a-minute. The movie embraced the object of the original plot while shedding a few scenes to keep the movie streamlined and fast-paced. I loved how much of the city was featured in this movie - the cityscape, Bernini's statues, the Vatican - it was almost as good as being in Rome again! I highly recommend this movie not only for the artistic, scientific, religious, historical, and philosophical content, but for the acting, directing, and the terrific twists and turns that make this THE MUST SEE FILM OF 2009!!
