it's good but too much hype

i enjoyed star trek but was disappointed. why? because the reviews were so enthusiastic. the second coming had nothing on this second coming of star trek. when the story was moving it was great, but i got a little tired when action was thrown in for action's sake. think the ice planet monsters and scotty getting stuck in a water tube. 10 minutes that could have been trimmed without affecting the story. anyhow, it's a good film but don't be surprised if you aren't as overwhelmed as some reviewers appear to be.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
