Worth watching twice!!

I think Mr Gene Rodenberry would have been pleased with JJ Abrams' vision of Kirk and company on their, and the Enterprise's, maiden voyage. The casting was great, the action thrilling and there were enough references to keep Trekkers nodding in recognition without losing those who aren't familiar with the franchise. The entire audience broke out into applause and cheers when the movie was over... it was that good. I thoroughly enjoyed Star Trek and am going back next week to see it again.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
