Star Trek XI in IMAX

As a summer, popcorn Blockbuster, I definitely recommend this film. The experience in IMAX was incredible. The picture size/quality combined with the digital surround sound made this an amazing movie experience. Due to the scope, pace, visuals, humor and portrayal of most of the characters, I found myself really enjoying Star Trek XI as a generic sci-fi adventure film rather than as a Star Trek film specifically. I'm also quite certain that this movie will lose a LOT in the translation to the small screen. I would recommend seeing it in the theater, and on IMAX if at all possible. You won't regret it. My wife and I drove 2 hours to see this movie on IMAX and enjoyed every minute of it.
