Worth the Matinee Price

The storyline is very predicatble, and while the graphics are good, the 3D quality was lacking. Avatar is "Dances with Wolves" meets "Star Wars; Episode 1".
Don't get me wrong... I appreciate the imagination and creativity to create the environment, flora, fauna, etc... it was as if the deep sea environment was perfectly mixed with a tropical rain forest and all the mamals were hybrids of each other (horse meets aardvark).
Over all, it was entertaining and interesting to look at... but not overly spectacular or mentally stimulating. Good try, James.
