Suspend disbelief

For die hards, we'll wonder why Spock is romantically linked to Uhura and how they managed to hide this film's relationship during the TV era. And just why did Star Fleet have to warp to Vulcan and Earth to halt Nero's drill to those planets' cores? Don't those planets have their own homeland security to fight off bad guys? The compacted action is relentless, and the characters remain true to the original show. Well done.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
