I waited for this movie to come out since I read the book and did the actual tour in Rome 2007. Imagine my disappointment when the movie is nothing like the book. From beginning to end everything was changed! The lines where switched from Olivetti (who is CAPTAIN of the SWISS GUARD in the book) to Rocher (the second in command) Many names were changed. They removed the entire first 100 or so pages dealing with CERN and the antimatter. This was what made me read the book. Removing Kohler was the worst thing to do. He was very important in the book. I would say this was the worst book turned movie I have ever seen. Very Poor job and I am shocked Dan Brown allowed his book to be turned to garbage like this.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
