I love Star Trek, but this should appeal to folks new to Trek. The actors captured the chemistry of the original characters and were believable as the "young" versions of the original crew. Great story, lots of action, great special effects, and just the right dose of humor. Great movie if you love action/adventure and sci fi.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
