Well, I broke down and went to see this movie called Star Trek. Gene Roddenberry, DeForrest Kelly and James Doohan are rolling in their graves. What Gene has created and was most watched from the original series, next generation, deep space nine, and 11 movies was a complete and utter Star Wars clone. From the sound effects, the ships and the action sequences. STAR WARS all the way. George Lucas should hire JJ Abrahms to complete his triology. He already has episode 7 completed aka this movie (Star Trek). No where in the story line did anyone seek out new life and new civilizations. JJ just went forth boldly firing all laser like a tie fighter frenzy. A true Trekkie will past this movie up. Two thumbs down : (
