I thought the movie was decent. Compelling story, but not as well developed as I would expect. Overall, I enjoyed seeing the movie, and didn't feel like I wanted my money back. On the other hand, I probably wouldn't watch it a second time, even when released to video. Special effects (especially vampires exploding) made the entire theater laugh, which I don't think was the intended effect.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
