Excellent surprise..

Brilliant writing & Directing! As much as we love Star Trek, hearing about another film version is like hearing about another SuperMan film.. we went because my sister said it was phenomenal. It was! I can't believe that I am actually writing that I think I like it best of all the Star Trek stuff..(that's almost sacrilege).. We're in our 50's & loved Star Trek since we were kids. We also couldn't believe that they found a "Spock" & "Capt. Kirk" who nailed it with extraordinary, big screen characterization & brought the characters even more to life if possible.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
