This movie was great. I grew up watching both the original star trek series and the next generation. The best thing for me about the movie was that if youve never watched star trek before, you got the whole story and wouldn't be lost, but if you are a star trek fan, they got most of the nuiances that only true fans would expect (ie: the "red uniform" guy, McCoy catch phrases, etc). Plus, special effects were sweet! Great movie overall.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
