I loved Star Trek from day one, being from that era, and am a die hard trekker. I loved this movie,and I find nothing negative. Brought some tears when I saw Spock. Loved all the characters, and they all fit the parts. Never mind that some looked a little different than their counterparts, time has a way of changing looks dramatically anyway. The acting was great,and I loved the kids.
I respect J.J Abrams attention to detail and his respect for the story line. It was great to see what the NCC 1701 should have looked like in the interior. The workings of the ship were wonderful. And the cgi was amazing. I cant say enough about how much I loved this new start on a series that started the whole wonderful tale about Star Fleet.
