Even though we knew the outcome of the movie, the race scenes were exciting. The movie gives the 'behind the scenes look' at the story, as any good movie or book should. Our 10 year old (who had no clue who Secretariat was) absolutely loved it. If you enjoy the whole 'Kentucky Derby atmosphere' you will love this movie. One of those movies that brings a bit of nostalgia for a couple of hours. And in this day and age who doesn't need that from time to time. Definitely need to see this on the big screen.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
