I expected more...a good not great movie... with a great twist at the end. Denzel was very good... Overall, the move was a bit too much "Mad Max" for me... the Mad Max perception of a post-apocalyptic future seems to be such a cliché...wish it had been done another way. Also, I could not figure out the necessity for the movie to continue past Eli dictating the bible... Why was it necessary for the last segment to occur other than to set up a sequel? All in all, it was an good night at the movies...but there are better ones out there this year.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
