Star Trek is rebooted by director J.J. Abrams on the big screen! Let's get started; Star Trek was spectacular. The action immediately grabs you and never lets go! Cast members like Simon Pegg and Chris Pine are hilarious! Story is great (especially since it's a prequel to the TV series) and drama rises at few scenes which is amazing in the movie! Overall, Star Trek owns May (until Pixar's Up!) with tons of action, hilarious dialouge and cast members, and bits of drama. Star Trek is its own beast. See it in IMAX!

I never expected to see Star Trek for my Summer movie season of 2009, but the reviews were crazy so I knew I had to see it! I saw it on May 9th and that movie was awesome! Best IMAX movie of May! The action never stops, Simon Pegg is hilarious, and you realize that drama rises in the movie. This movie is a prequel to the regular Star Trek TV series so if you haven't seen any of the episodes on TV, this movie won't confuse you and it's the first Star Trek for everyone! See it in IMAX!
