Creates a base, still leaves room for more preq's

First half well done, the Kirk meet the old Spock to the end pushed things a bit. The young Spock meets the old Spock at the end should not have happened. Because it did, all the brave actions of Spock in past Star Treks we can now minimize as he already knew he was not going to die, for had already met himself as on old man.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
