First and foremost, it's a blockbuster in every sense of the word. There's explosions galore, heart-pounding danger, even sword fights. It's sexy, fast-paced, violent fun for most of the whole family. The plot? It's a compromise. Shoehorning in all the eye candy means dumbing things down a bit. They pulled the alternate timeline, anything goes routine and did it well. This is a blockbuster for the masses. I'm thankful the franchise has been revived. I'm hoping for lots of extra scenes on the DVD.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
