A New Breed of Star Trek

Prior to walking into the movie theater, I was forewarned by a friend that this was not my typical Star Trek movie. He was right.
From the beginning until the end, the movie was filled with non-stop action. The characters also showed abundance of emotions and flaws, especially Spock(resisting my urge to spoil the movie:) The special effects looked very believable unlike those simple 3-color buttons you used to see from the old Star Trek shows.
All in all, I had a great time watching this movie and I guess because going in my expectation was not all that high, this movie made it all better.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
