Great casting. Lame script. Tired premise. Falls apart as soon as they convert from the tale of the Crusades to the slow and hackneyed journey with the alleged witch. The director didn't know how to end it so he just took the easy way out. Terribly disappointing. I wouldn't buy the DVD from the discount bin. Skip it.
No, I do not recommend this movie.

The Star Trek Franchise Lives

We knew them when they were already a crew. JJ Abrams shows us how they bonded and the magic therein. True to the legacy, but fresh and frothy, we find these younger versions of our beloved Enterprise crew readily recognizeable. Not the greatest villain of the series, but Bana does crazed avenger very well. The Zachary incarnation of Spock is spot on. Catch the magic. When will the next adventure begin?
Yes, I recommend this movie.
