Excellent film with credible acting and spectacular special effects, especially the Romulan "drill" that was used to plant the "red matter".
A few chills ran up my spine when the Star Trek logo appeared on screen right after James Tiberius Kirk is born and at the end when Nimoy gives the all important mission statement that was the opening preface to every TV episode. This film really exemplifies the sci-fi action genre.
Surely, this cast and crew should be good for the start of another series or at least one film a year for the next decade. I'll look forward to either one or both at the same time.
