It's Star Trek

As a trekker, I have to say this is as good as the better trek films. I think the "this ain't for trekkie's" folks should shut up. We're already used to "revisionism" in Trek given TNG and afterward. I've seen about every ep of all series, and I enjoyed the movies. The movies have always been less cerebral than the show, and even so, this could have used a little more brain and heart. But on balance, I think it could revive the franchise after the awful Nemesis.
I didn't like that there were no recognizable aliens other than Vulcans and Romulans. Some Andorians, Klingons, Tellurites in the next pic, please.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
