I will tell you right now. If you are a 40 something TOS fan wanting to see Fattner, I mean Shatner, on the screen again, watch your old ST movies. THIS IS NOT YOUR FATHER'S STAR TREK. How can people have heard all the hype and then complain that it doesn't ring true to the original. PROBABLY BECAUSE THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL SERIES. No one wants to see a fat under acheiving, barely coherent old man as captain of the most legendary ship in the fleet. GET OVER IT OLD GUYS! THIS AINT FOR YOU!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
