It is apparent that the special effect budget was HUGE. By far, the best Star Trek in that manner. The back story of the characters is good with perfect people playing the key roles, but the movie plot itself left you waiting for the real movie to start. I would guess the next Star Trek will be great, but this one was just a solid Good. I only see 1-2 movies a year at the theatres, and I think I might have been just as good to wait for this on Blue Ray. A big plus was hot as$ Ohora. Well casted.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
