Terrific Movie

A rocket blasted roller coaster of a ride! I honestly can't remember the last time I had so much fun at a movie. Star Trek was a faithful rebuild of an old franchise that seemed to have had its last breath. It was painful to watch the last set of movies and to see how far off the path Star Trek had strayed. Going back to the beginning with an updated mindset was refreshing and exhilarating. I felt like a kid again watching these old characters that I had grown up with (I was 10 when it launched on NBC). Kudos to JJ Abrams and crew for providing us with a movie that not only brought back Kirk, Spock and the crew of the Vaunted Enterprise but provided thrills, emotions and a good dose of humor as well.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
