I didn't expect much, but, hey, it's Star Trek. Boy, was I surprised! Loved it. The actor playing Scott almost stole the movie, but who cares? I'll probably see it again. Lucky I brought my ear plugs; IMAX sound hurt my wife's eardrums. Not good.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
