Great Rebirth.... except for..

As a rebirth of the franchise this movie ranks very high among its previous releases.... I found a few plot elements to be major flaws for the Star Trek world... 1) Red Matter... what was Spock doing with enough to destroy the entire galaxy when just a single drop can create a black hole, 2) Transporting from the planet to a ship 'warping' away... I guess 'out of transporter range' is no longer an issue; and 3) ejecting the warp core to escape the gravitational pull of 'said black hole'... I enjoyed the movie, even saw it twice and would recommend it to anyone... Long term fans will have definite issues.. as with any Star Trek movie...
