Unexpectedly Amazed...

I had not seen any Star Trek movies previously and had little knowledge about it, but it was much better than I had expected. In fact, it was amazing. The character development and plots were solid and acting was spot-on. I would expect anyone not familiar with Star Trek series to enjoy this because it nicely covers all the foundations without feeling dragged on. The movie is fast-paced and gets you into the action throughout the two hours, which I felt as if it were only an hour.
Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie and anticipate on seeing more of it on sequels. One of the best movies I have seen.
