Star Trek delivers sweeping visuals, mesmerizing special effects, and edge-of-your-seat suspense. The script is smart and funny, and will undoubtedly appeal to both die-hard Trekkies and causal fans alike. Director J. J. Abrams serves up a sci-fi action adventure that provides a compelling back story while staying true to vision of Trek creator Gene Roddenberry.
