my hubby was skeptical b/c of the title that we were going to see a 'chick flick' but we both laughed so hard our abs hurt still today. very funny movie, both loved it. we will be watching this over and over when it comes out on dvd/dvr/netflix. highly reccommend!

i thought the last airbender was great. my son loves the cartoon, and i have to admit, i do too. the movie did it ample justice, and in some ways made it even more entertaining. to see how shamalalmamalan would create the special effects of bending was great, the only one that needs a little tweaking is air-bending. somehow the 'fog' that surrounds ang when he airbends was not exciting enough. it ended with me wanting more and i cannot wait to see the sequels. everyone in the audience was cheering and noticeably enjoying themselves. now that harry potter is pretty much finished, we need something like this to look forward to!
