One of the best Star Treks

I would give this movie the highest rating. I am a trekkie who had doubts about being able to accept new actors playing very familiar roles. My concerns were not warranted. The new Spock was wonderful and added dimensions to the character not seen before. The younger McCoy reminded me of the original in his humor and wit. And Kirk was absolutely great.
As the filmed moved on, the special effects were stunning and very well crafted. The overall film allowed me to escape to a kinder, and better world for 2 hours. I left remembering why I have liked that show so much over the years.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
