What fun we all had! My husband and I are lifelong Trekkers, having watched from childhood and now having all the episodes on DVD. We raised our daughter on Star Trek, even. All 3 of us went to see this highly anticipated film and not one of us was disappointed in the quality of the film. The story line was compelling, the characters well developed, and there were little details that provided linkage to the past/future episodes. Any discrepancies we attributed to alternative reality! The CG was masterful! We will be seeing it again and purchasing it when it comes out in DVD.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
