The previous movie was certainly one of a kind and it took a unique person to like it, but this movie was a phenomenal improvement. The acting felt genuine and the dialogue wasn't as forced and rigid. This time the movie was much closer to the original book but it explained things well for the people who haven't read the book. There is much more purposeful humor in this movie. Where the first one felt like a slapshot documentary that made you laugh at all the wrong points, New Moon invites you to laugh at the right parts and feels more like a major motion picture. Even the action was cool. Overall I think it’s worth the watch even if you aren't a die hard fan of the series.
No, I do not recommend this movie.
