My expectations were not high going into this movie, but the IMAX picture, 3D effects, and sound were really first rate. The story stuck pretty much to Dickens' original, but was made all the more frightening by the 3D special effects. Small children may be frightened by some of the scenes. Also, the voice acting is first rate in my opinion. My wife and I, as well as our three teens, enjoyed it very much (unusual for them to give such a recommendation).
Yes, I recommend this movie.
