What a Relief!

I was hesitant about this Deathly Hallows after reading the local review. I knew it would be dark and move slowly as I found the first part of the book somewhat irritating in the way it took Our Trio sooooo long to actually DO something. But after seeing the movie I am so relieved--it's great. Yes, it's dark. Yes, it's slow. But it makes sense and is pretty much true to the book. As my husband (who has not read the books, but who has seen the movies) said, you need it to set up Part 2. He thought it was really good and he's the kind who generally dislikes movies--too predictable, too trite, not entertaining, etc.
Go see it--whether you're a die-hard Harry fan or a casual one. It's worth it in itself, and will make Part 2 even more worth waiting for.
