I really liked this movie, I did not think anything could be as fresh in a sense of creativity as the Matrix but this was great!! Where do they come up with these freaky ideas?!
I have seen the 2D, 3D, and 3D IMAX version. I can tell you that the IMAX version is FANTASTIC! So much detail, the sound blows all others out of the water. If you want total immersion into a movie and feel like you are actually there, nothing beats IMAX. Just make sure to show up early so you can sit in a location that puts you squarely in the middle of the screen for MAX affect!
Took the family to see this movie and my little girls had some great laughs. So did mom and dad! Suprisingly good show. Exceded my (Dad) expectations as an adult. My kids loved it!
Although there was a lot of action in the movie the story line seemed somewhat lacking. You would think being a 2hr 40min movie it would have had more substance. Don't get me wrong it did have one but it seemed as if they were rushing me through the movie from start to finish. The crude language was totally unnecessary (maybe the producers thought it would be funny) most of the audience did not judging from the vibe I got from uneasy parents. Go see Star Trek again and wait for the DVD/Blu-Ray release!
