Another well done franchise reboot

Star Trek is a franchise reboot, and it was just as, if not more, successful as the other recent reboots. It blended two important things that matter: Canon (Original Storyline) and special effects. Enough canon was needed to appease trekkies (like myself), and enough action and special effects were needed to be relevant in today's market. Abrams did it well. I have read many hyperbolic reviews, both good and bad, but this is a new director and new storyline. Skeptical trekkies: Don't deprive yourself of a great movie, open your mind and experience this film. Bottom line, we will not get a Star Trek movie that will appease only us, because it would fail so hard money-wise, and that's a huge factor. To everyone else: Just go and watch it.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
