Just plain FUN!
Trekkie die-hards who want an exact, point by point, dead on prequel will be disapointed...
Those who just want to see one bad @$$ Trek movie with space ships and aliens and pretty girls and Vulcan mind melds and phaser fights will LOVE EVERY SECOND!
Yes, I recommend this movie.
