This is a well-executed animated feature with a lovely balance of life-themes and light humor. Night Fury is artfully depicted and embodies so many of the mannerisms of a variety of beloved furry friends - a stellar character that steals the show.
The only failure is an underlying plot point that seems a bit of a stretch. But the animation and effects are positively breath-taking and even harrowing at times and the end is as thoughtful and bittersweet as it is celebratory and feel-good. This will join UP, Monsters Inc. and The Emperor's New Groove in my collection.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
