But this movie should have been made longer and split into two. There was just way too much detail that had to be left out of such a short movie. I hope the last one is done that way or it will NOT be worth paying for.

Because once is not enough

JJ Abrams and crew apparently have decided that we did not get enough of Spock, Bones, Sulu, Uhura, Scotty, Chekov, and Kirk back in 1967 and onward. So they've changed history so that they have an entire new life to record on film and even another TV series if they really want to. Should they? Yes. Why? Because the best thing that Roddenberry did was to bring hope to a discouraged world. Hope that poverty, racism, hunger and disease would be eradicated in our future. We still need that hope.
Yes, I recommend this movie.
