Awesome movie! Since the first TV series in the late 60's, during the Vietnam war and the counter culture days, this series has always packed a punch with satisfying entertainment, visions of our future, and morals to live by.
In this film, I see a rebirth of those things at a time when humanity needs hope for its future as we strive to save our own planet, and move out into space, despite our own petty differences.
The cast is near-perfect for this movie. All are young and set up for future Star Trek movie sequels. We'll be seeing many more to come, I'm sure. Warp speed, Mr. Sulu!
